Lebanon arrests fugitive cleric ahmad al assir

Houla: A Lebanese politician has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the assassination of a prominent Shiite cleric, who was abducted along with his wife and children by Islamist gunmen near the border town of Houla, according to official sources.

A senior security source told Reuters on condition of anonymity that the arrested politician was A마이다스 카지노ssir Khomeini, who was a deputy speaker in the late 1970s.

Khoury was detained in central Lebanon, close to the Lebanese border where he was due to hold talks with Lebanese members of parliament and other influential officials, according to an informed인터넷 바카라 source in Beirut.

The Lebanese government has announced a crackdown on the alleged plotters of last week’s killing of the Lebanese Shiite cleric Sayyed Abdel-Rahman.

Hezbollah said in a statement on its website that it was aware of reports that Assir Khomeini had taken the step of calling on the Lebanese armed forces to stop the operations against them.

Assir Khomeini is a senior Shi’ite figure and a former senior adviser to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who died in 1989.

“Hassan Assir Khomeini is a prominent Lebanese politician, who has been the founder of the “Houthi alliance” in Lebanon’s sectarian conflict,” according to the statement by the Iranian government’s foreign media arm.

The statement also praised Assir Khomeini as a “leader of the nation” and said: “His martyrdom shows what the enemy wants with its hatred and bloodshed.”

Naser al마사지 후기-Hassan, the leader of the Lebanese Shi’ite religious movement, Hezbollah and a close ally of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, condemned the alleged assassination plot, according to an Israeli security source in the Lebanese capital, Tel Aviv.

The Israeli military warned that it would consider any attempt to kill Assir Khomeini an act of war against Israel.

Houthi groups in the region and in the United States also have been waging a war against Lebanon’s Shi’ite population for decades. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has made heavy use of its fighters on the battlefields of Syria and Iraq, claiming large swaths of territory under its control in both countries.
